I have learnt many things from my three textual analysis. The things i have learnt are how other music video's attract the audience's attention to actually listen to the song. We also learnt that to attract a specific group of people you need to include different things. That's why we decided for each of the rappers to be based on different things such as when SK was rapping as he said "Buy me an AK" you could actually see gunshots with the glass cracks to actually help the audience understand what type of AK he meant. In our music video we had three rappers, Tignatius, SK and Tinie Turban. Tinie Turban represented his religion, SK represented his wealth and Tignatius represented his dancing talent. We noticed that this is the main way to catch the audience's attention the way that this is what depends on whether people would actually watch and listen to you music video's and would want to buy our song's. We didn't want to copy others, the way that when they make a cover to a song they will usually rap the exact same lyrics as the original artists who actually make the song. This happens quite often. We wanted to make our music video differently so we all sat down and wrote our lyrics by our self which didn't really make it that boring for people to watch the video. The final thing i learnt from my three textual analysis was how a music video is meant to be structured. We didn't want to make our video look crazy with a lot of effects so we stayed at a minimum. We kept comparing our music video to others such as the main version of Look At Me Now - Chris Brown.

Parental Advisory
As you can see on the front of the album cover we have a sign saying Parental Advisory. This sign mainly shows up on rap album covers. All this really means is that there are swearing involved in the album and there will have to be Parental Advisory towards younger listeners.
Ancillary Task
As you can clearly see this is the back cover of the album case. It has 10 songs that Ignatius, Tinie Turban and SK have actually rapped to before which are also found on YouTube. We thought that 10 would be enough because that is an average amount of songs which are usually on albums.
The picture shown above is the front cover. As you can see there is a dominant image. A dominant image is one which will immediately catch the viewers attention. Usually the dominant image of any album cover is a human. In our album cover due to Ignatius is the main rapper of our group we have decided to put him at the front.
The picture shown above is the part when you open the album up you have that space for the CD. We came up with the idea of a DJ record because not really many people that have albums have come up with an idea of having a record like CD.
Again due to the fact that Ignatius is the main rapper of us three we have decided to stick him on the inside left hand side of the album cover. Again there is a dominant image.
We added the screen crack effect in all parts of the album cover because we thought it would look more effective and because we thought it would look really good on the album cover too.
Calendar
The filming of our video was spread over a large amount of time the way not all of us could appear on all the dates of filming due to we were sometimes busy. We were filming from around the 16th of September to around the 3rd of November due to the way for my part of the rap music video we had to film quite alot of times. My filming wasn't always going according to plan. My scene which was shot in the town centre we did on the 28th of October. It was much easier for us to record around that time as it was getting dark around 6 o'clock so we didn't finish that late. Before we had to film around 8:00 due to that was the time it would get dark. The 3rd of November was our last day of filming and this was good because it left us with just over three weeks to finish off the editing and to add any sound effects in to make our music video more effective for when someone is watching our video for example the F1 car driving, the lady screaming and the AK47 gunshot.

Production Logo
The production logo was made by Ekjot. As you see we didn't want to make our production logo too basic like it was last time. So Ekjot added many effects such as the 3D look Ekjot used to make the letters stand out more. Instead of an A Ekjot decided to have a pyramid to replace it so it wouldn't look boring having just writing. There is also that light which follows around the Pyramid which makes the production logo very effective towards the viewers.
Andrew Goodwin's Music Video Theory
Andrew Goodwin identified 5 main aspects of music video that the audience should be looking out for. These 5 main aspects were Thought beats - seeing the sound, Narrative and Performance, The Star Image, Relation of visuals to Song and Technical Aspects of Music Video.
To start with i will talk about Thought Beats. The first thing to do when watching a music video is to look at the music itself. You must understand the structure of the song. Next the audience will have to look at the voice of the song. The artists voice is what is extremely unique. As you can see in our video we all sound different when we rap. Tinie Turban sounds more aggressive, Tignatius sounds in the middle of calm and aggressive and SK sounds calm.
The next main aspect i am going to talk about is the narrative and performance. Andrew Goodwin explains that music videos should ignore common narrative. This is important of the role of advertising. In our music video the performance and narrative used by all of us are completely different. In Tinie Turban's scene he is clearly shown as more of a boss, Tignatius is shown more as a dancer and SK is shown as a gangsta type of guy the way he is dressed.
The next key aspect is Star Image. The star image is another one of the most vital aspects of a music video. In our music video the star image is different in each of our parts of the music video as explained above.
The next aspect of a music video is Relation of visuals to a song. Music video's can use a wide variety of things like images or effects to show the meaning of the lyrics to the audience. For example on SK's rap he has gunshots appearing as he say "buy me an AK" which shown the audience exactly what he was talking about when rapping.
Finally the last aspect is the Technical Aspects about a video. The technical aspects are what hold the music video together through the use of camera work, mise en scene, editing, sound, special effects etc.
Editing and speed etc are forms of the use of camera. Lighting used when producing a music video are what emphasise the main moments of a song for dramatical effect.

Letter Of Consent
It was quite hard to get permission to use the Look At Me Now instrumental in our video due to the way that the only way we would be able to get hold of Chris Brown himself was through Twitter. It took quite long to actually get a reply from Chris Brown due to he must be very busy, being known worldwide and being on of the most famous R & B singers. We managed to connect with Chris Brown over twitter to ask whether is was cool to use his tune in our music video. He was alright with it due to he let alot more people also remix to it.

Shots taken when rehearsing
We decided to rehearse our music video in the schools' performance area. The only reason we did this was because we knew it was a quiet spot to run through our lyrics and moves which we might do in the music video.

Risk Assessment
One of the main things you will have to consider whaen making a music video is safety. What this does is make sure that all characters will be safe when filming and have no distractions by anyone. For example in a short film, if it is going to be filmed in a public area you will need permission to film there. there was a short film which was made last year, they had guns and blood which was involved in the making of the movie. At one point the police actually got called in and when they came they actually thought a crime was committed. We used many different locations in our video, we had to make sure each of them locations were safe to film at. Not only was it because it was in a public area but it was in the evening so crimes were most likely to be committed at them times. We also had to be fully aware of strangers.

Initial Ideas that i put towards the groups making of our music video
We have made a music video to Look at me now by Chris Brown. We have made a mix by producing our own lyrics. To write the lyrics we all went around Ignatius's house and we started to write them down. We all took part in writing the lyrics and we all helped each other. We all helped in choosing the camera shots which should be used. We even got help from Arjun who is also featured in the song even though he isn't in our group. I found a few songs which we could rap to. I came up with either Look At Me Now-Chris Brown or Dont Stop The Party-Black Eyed Peas.I also helped in the editing of my part of the video showing where to have the cuts and what type of effects to use for my part of the music video. I then made the album cover to our song Look At Me Now and added 12 of the other songs Ignatius has made off of YouTube. When i was up to record i would also help think of the locations in which we could film my part. I didnt really want to film in the skate park as Ignatius and Arjun already recorded there.
All together me and my group have decided to make a rap video to the song Look At Me Now - Chris Brown. We have all written our own lyrics which replace Chris Brown's verse. When we recording our voices to the Look At Me Now instrumental none of us were able to rap as fast as Busta Rhymes or keep the same flow as Lil Wayne. Due to the fact Chris Brown had the slowest verse we all decided to have his beat playing while we rap. We have all decided to film in Windsor not only because it was local but there were also alot of locations where graffiti were for example in the underpass and in the skate park.

Textual analysis 3
Textual Analysis 3
In this essay I’m going to talk about Busta Rhymes song called touch it (remix). Busta Rhymes used many techniques when making the video to this song. One in which was when the kids were stomping (dance) and have that singing/dance battle. It was different because nobody else includes a singing/dance battle in the beginning of a music video between 2 groups of little kids. There is another cool effect that they do within the video of touch it (remix) by Busta Rhymes. There are about 7 artists in the music video including Papoose, Dmx and Mary J Blidge etc. Each artist in the video represents one colour for example Papoose represents green and Dmx represents black. The final piece which was used in the video for touch it (remix) was when a new artist comes up to perform it will say their name at the side so that you know who will be rapping next in the video. There are different types of camera shots used in the music video such as two shots, close ups and wide shots. There are a lot of close up shots used in the video when it shows the artists face as they are singing. There are more close up shots taken in the beginning where it like runs through all the artists featured in the song such as Rah Digga, Dmx etc. The second type of camera shot which is used in the video of the song touch it (remix) is wide shot. The first wide shot which is taken in the beginning of the song is when Busta Rhymes and his friend is shown which the cheerleaders when they are about to stomp and beat box which shows you that they are a lot of people there in the room and a singing/dance battle is clearly shown at the beginning when Busta Rhymes starts rapping and then the girls start stomping (dance). Finally the last camera shot used in the music video of touch it(remix) is two shot. There are a couple of two shots used in the music video. One in which is the two shot used when Busta Rhymes gets in the shot with Rah Digga just before she is about to rap which shows that she is featured in the song. It also happens to all the other rappers in the song which also clearly shows who is involved in the song itself.
